Pediatric endocrine conditions such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia, ambiguous genitalia, bartter’s syndrome, pseudohypoaldosteronism and hypopitutarism are some of the endocrine disorders which have been diagnosed here and successful treatment initiated.
GH deficiency is routinely diagnosed here by stimulation studies and Growth Hormone replacement therapy is started. DKA is a common PICU admission. Many difficult cases of persistent hypoglycaemia have been solved and managed successfully.
